The Peninsula War Atlas is a real tome and comes with its own cover. Real nice for the coffee table if I had any friends to gaze lovingly at it. My wife and daughter just looked at it at laughed. The other is a regimental history of the 9th Infantry Battalion. Looks pretty cool also.
What's it like to possess something that has such deep meaning for you, but to be unable to share that meaning with those closest to you?

I worry that, one day, you're going to go to some gaming convention or other, and while you're there, you're going to meet a gorgeous woman with gravity-defying breasts and a perfectly sculpted ass who shares your passion for Napoleon and heavy infantry... and that's going to spell the end of your marriage.
Gaming convention at the bottom of the world? No... life will never be that easy for me. I am destined to shuffle past my little library and bunches of plastic figures with only me to appreciate them. Since my family consists of girls the dust will settle on my books and the pretty colours will fade...pathos...sniff
