I guess this will fly into the eternal data centre somewhere but here goes...
2026 and I am sitting in the spring sun drinking a bottle of Fairview Ridge Riesling 2023. Things really changed since my last post all those years ago. I found a new job for one. Now I manage a Ministry site ( no specifics sorry!) Near my family home. It is a job I absolutely love. My wife and I drive to work together a couple of days a week as she works part-time at a department store. We live out in the country and have a really simple life. Our oldest daughter moved to Australia with her partner to work for the federal power supplier as a systems engineer and my youngest is coming back to live with us as she has got a job as a dentist in same town we work in. She has a big student loan that she needs to pay back so living with mum and dad makes sense for a year or so. Also her boyfriend is still at uni and she wants to be close to him. Actually, that is the major reason! Summer is coming and life is good. There goes my update after six years. And yes I am still interested in things Napoleonic 😀
